The download statistics are somewhat skewed, unfortunately. E.g. we have huge amount of downloads of the game per month (very fluctuating, in average perhaps 10000 per month) but only a fraction of GET requests on www.openclonk.org/download. So there must be something wrong there, either bots, or most people access it from some direct download link, or something. But one thing is certain, imo: the download count is not a date out of which we can pull any meaning as such.
