Making Cool looking avatars and costumes would be a cool pluspoint for the game wouldn't it?

I think we do have four Clonk skins already. Plus you can set yourself a lobby-icon (woo-hoo!).One thing I'd find cool is if you could put a gravestone graphic for your dead Clonks into the player and/or Clonk files. I think you could do that in some old versions of Worms.

This feature is still available in the newer versions.

Strictly speaking, lobby icons are earlier than gravestones ;)

I suspect that that is related to the facts that a) the portrait was something only "premium" (registered) players could have, you wouldn't mess up something valuable, and b) that animations are impossible.
Also, it would be really cool if your avatar would be displayed on your flag!

That would be cool but the picture would need to move with the flag and I'm not sure how hard it would be to make it do that. :)

How about The game itself being like a third person shooter style......The satisfaction wud be much better that way,right?
If I understand your comment correctly, then you might be looking for Golden Wipf Extreme. It is a 3rd Person Clonk game with destructible voxel landscapes, developed by fellow clonk enthusiasts but is in no way developmentally connected with OpenClonk.OpenClonk was designed from the start to be a 2D Platformer. Developers have added cool stuff like 3D graphics, HQ3x shader landcapes, and raycast lighting, but the game world remains flat.
Y did they decide on that?i mean openclonk wud get a boost if it's like golden wipf extreme,right?or is it tough to make that?
It is tough to make that, yes :)Also it would be a different game.
Zapper may have understated the toughness: It would be very tough.But that's not even biggest argument. What you suggest is a different game. It's like asking EA if Battlefield would not be cool if it was a strategy game; maybe yes, but it's something completely different.
Sorry if my answer sounded offensive to you, it certainly wasn't meant to. We appreciate any kind of feedback. I just tried to explain why we'd discard your proposal in a neutral way. :)
