Picking the patches itself is a small part of the task. One can even get a reasonable approximation by just picking all patches that have a bug number in the summary and still apply. I can do that part for the engine and for game data patches with good patch descriptions. But the result does have to be tested again to shake out the bugs that result from the patches being taken out of context. If we can get that and the autobuild branch support done (though I'd prefer using a separate repos just to avoid the obnoxious nature of hg "branches"), we should have a small stable release update ready.
