Don't like it at all. Neither the concept as wearable nor the design of the balloons. I actually took the idea of having a (magic-)balloon from the game psychonauts. There, the ballon just pops out of nowhere (or blows up really fast) and the character hangs on it with one arm. Look at this scene from the game:
