I don't know that much about Guitars, but even the dusty ones usually start to sound fine again after they have gotten used to the tension of the strings again (~a few hours of playing with retuning every second minute will do,  but new strings are a must have usually).

I know pretty much nothing about guitars, but do not expect too much. It has been left alone for over ten years and is probably some stupid children's guitar with training wheels.

I don't own one. I can ask a few friends (such as loriel :) ), but I can't promise anything.

How old do you want it to be? I think there are still two 14" or 15" CRTs in the basement. I can also offer a 19" LCD though :)

Only if you're operating them at lower frequencies. And I still maintain it's impossible to properly play Soldat on a LCD display.

For departure: Anyone travelling home by car? I plan to visit either a friend in Karlsruhe or my parents in Palatia (20minutes away from Karlsruhe) after the CM.

Recovered quite nicely, but I'm still hesitating. Train is to expensive without pre-booking (and I already payed the pre-book for sunday.. :/). Only hope left is a spontaneous visit of a friend after the cm, to make the whole thing worth the costs. In case the arrangement works I would drop by around friday, but without a computer.

About one week to go. So with Clonkonaut and Isilkor not coming two others can leave their sleeping bags at home.

Currently I know that ala arrives at 13:28 and Zapper, Sven2, Newton and clonkine arrive by car. What about the others? If you want to be picked up at the station let me know the arrival time.

Arrived home safe and sound. Thanks again for hosting the meeting!
It was fun meeting you all again/at last in RL. I also enjoyed our trips to the climbing garden and Freiburg very much and am glad that it turned out to be more of an adult meeting rather than some week-long network session. Next time hopefully with Clonkonaut, too. Also next time I'll bring the Werewolf game and Bang which are lil bit similar to the murder-game we played :-)

It is a pity though that not so much new game content for OC came out of the more productive part of our meeting; but it is comprehensible since a lot of groundwork in the engine and scripts still needs to be done and many issues in the bugtracker need to be addressed. Unlike in previous clonk meetings, we couldn't build on top of a finished engine and a finished game content. OC is in every aspect a new beginning for clonk, community-wise, gameplay-wise, content-wise and well, clonkmeeting-wise too. One look at the bugtracker or the HG changelog should be enough to see that this wasn't derogatory for our productivity at the clonk meeting :-). I'll post the logs from our discussion tomorrow.

You were talking about force feedback. Bring that together with running onto a wall. Besides, running against walls might be easy, but it hurts.
