Uf, why start such a discussion about this? To adapt the color of the ice block to the color of the actual material is a matter of one minute.

I was just expressing my opinion that the ice shouldn't look like in CR. I think it is a very unfit colour for ice.

Cool. I still think that ice should have a different color. Or change its color to match the surroundings in a nice way or something.

Maybe:
Ice - White-blueish, crystallic and a bit transparency.
Snow - White, matt without crystal effects.
