Should the wire be used for pipes, too?

Yes, no reason to overcomplicate things.

But then it should stay the linekit, you can't make pipes out of wires. Oo

Why should wires instead of linekits enrich the gameplay?

Most players probably wouldn't think of using wire for pipes and whatnot.

So that is the Core-to-do List for the ingame objects but what is with the engine? Multiple CPU-Core support, etc?
Can't find a list for it.

We want a playable game. Features like multiple cpu-core support have nothing to do with making the game playable. These (and others that have been discussed here) are nice things to have later.

What Sven and I are working on now btw are the new controls (and hud). This has to be done partly in the engine.

Ok, understood first the ingame elements, then the system elements.

Well, if you want to to something system related, feel free to do that, though :)

I'm still learning C++ so I can't do such big things. It would be better, if an expert would do that^^
