Has anyone thought of letting OpenClonk go on Steam Greenlight?
I think it has been considered in the past. Note that there now is a $100 dollar fee for submitting your first game. Moreover, we would need a new trailer for this.
Personally I am not the biggest fan, since we then need to maintain one more platform. However, the advertisement potential is huge, but then I would do it as part of a large set of actions we do for advertising.

Haven't there been problems with licensing? Or was this only the case for Clonk Rage?Even if it was considered, I think OC as it is now doesn't have enough content for a steam release. Just look at all the hated early access games, where people don't understand what unfinished means.
If OC ever reaches a content level near Rage tough (and tools like Windmill are available), that would be great to gain players. Thinking of workshop e.g.
