Let me know if Help and Questions is the correct thread to use for this post!

OC Beta 9 is sending error message window:

Title: Error Log
Message: Decoration.ocd/Misc.ocd/SprayCan.ocd not available

OC 8 and OC 8.1 are fine and show the sandbox, not OC 9.0 beta even with default values!

This even occurs if you manually put Misc.ocd and SprayCan.ocd under the OC 9 root!

Tested with snapshot 2018-03-19 20:39, by the way links from this page are dead: https://www.openclonk.org/nightly-builds/

This is because the snapshots are currently not being updated. I think it is fixed on master.

The Question is: what to do when you get an Error Log message

Try it, fire 9.0, Start Game > Parkour > Heart of the Mountain > what do you get?

I cannot confirm that either. I just tested on the latest autobuild binaries with git master and the only thing unnormal I get is lots of "suspicious assignment" warnings, whatever happened there. The scenario however is playable. Applies for Heart of the Mountain as well as Sandbox.

[Edit] But I know this did happen on some of the first 9.0 snapshots though.

Maikel, you are right, it is an OS issue and likely a Windows 7 problem! Just tried under Ubuntu 16.04 and no trouble at all!

BTW where are saved games under Linux, the equivalent of Appdata/Roaming/... for Windows?

they are in ~/.clonk/openclonk

The snapshots are made from git master (if they are working, which they currently are not), so you get the latest version.

No. Master is the name of a git branch. Git is where we have our source code. It supports branches, which are multiple different states of the development that can exist in parallel. Master is the default branch.
