Well, even though we don't have a concrete magic system in place, I thought I'd like to work on something. We may use something else entirely for magic, but it was fun to create and didn't take long.

Hm... Have we already agreed on the spellcasting concept. So in the end there will be magic books... ok. (Probably it can be classified as a tool along with axes, shovels and so on... :-)

The logo on the book is some strange, and the plain brown is not a good texture :S

Also i find the book small for a magic book, and the pages not realistic also

It's supposed to look mystical.

>and the plain brown is not a good texture :S

I've recently made the texture more 'noisy'.

>Also i find the book small for a magic book

Well, the words are just quite large on the page. :)

>and the pages not realistic also

I thought they were pretty good for having only 14 polygons (each side).

It does

Probably you can change color to purple. We already have A WAY TOO MUCH BROWN COLOR in OpenClonk.

I think dylanstrategie meant making book thicker. And I agree with him. Probably 2 times thicker.

> thought they were pretty good for having only 14 polygons (each side)

Try to make the color more "yellowish" (ref1, ref2)
