Since a few weeks, the tags
git/master
and master
appeared next to default
and tip
. What are they for?
They are for synchronization with the git repository I assume.
It's just a link to the git repository URL. If you want access to git, I can provide it via HTTP, once I find a good spot to add it to the namespace (hg.openclonk.org isn't the perfect hostname for a git repository (newton CNAME git.openclonk.org to me please)).
That information Isilkor shared with us could be public, or is it unsave?
I don't know, but if there is no anonymous access to git (is there?) then the information is only relevant to developers anyway.
The git bridge I've set up mirrors all changesets with a tag to and from git. Actually, I don't know what exactly it mirrors from git, but at least those two are. The "master" tag is always attached to the most recent changeset on the default branch, since the default branch is called "master" on git. The tags with a "git/" prefix represent the current state of the git repository, so you might see git/master on an older changeset than master, because the syncing takes some time.
