I tried out a a new design for the wind jar, or, how I named my device: the High-Compressed Air Releasing Device.It can be invented/built in the Inventors Workshop and requires some kind of fuel to work.
The three tubes with the white-outlined dark objects in it are some kind of compressing units, shown in the second picture. the two tubes on the edgy thing (which is the engine), are dual-pistons and shoot up and down while the engine is running.
If the device is full of air, the air compressing units dont move and the engine is on standby, visualized by slowly moving pistons.
If it sucks in air, the engine is on full power, pistons shooting up and down like hell, the air compressing units are working, pumping air into the device.
Also, once in a time there is some exhaust fume released out of the tail pipe.
maybe add some kind of belt that goes around the opposite shoulder of the clonk?

Ok, now we just have to rename it to "bagpipe" and everything is perfect.
Prefer "Flying Bagpipe"!
bumpI like the idea with naming it bagpipe, fits to the wacky invention-style. And every time one uses it, an appropriate sound appears :-)

I tried to model this from the first posts images. This is just the bare model. (seperate parts)
By the way, I vote for sucking air, water, lava, acid, (snow), .... with this. It could also suck water out of trees.
