Fist I started, then nobody joined, then I left.
Parent - By Zapper [de] Date 2012-11-03 23:33
Happens :)

According to the stats there have been around 3.5 games per hour today and it's a bit later already. Tomorrow evening (European evening) there should be a bunch of players online for the sunday-evening-rounds
Parent - - By Fluff [gb] Date 2012-11-03 23:33
Try tomorrow evening, when everyone will be online for the gaming night.

Except for me. I'll probably be out at a wild-teen-party.

Edit: Ninja'd by Zapper. Fun fact: I actually posted first, but he screwed things up via time-travel and look where we are now.
Parent - - By J. J. [py] Date 2012-11-03 23:35
Well to bad for you.
Parent - - By Fluff [gb] Date 2012-11-03 23:38
No, it'll be to the wild teen-party for me, remember?
Parent - - By J. J. [py] Date 2012-11-03 23:41 Edited 2012-11-03 23:46
Don't mean to offend, but that's what bad for you.
Parent - - By Fluff [gb] Date 2012-11-03 23:51
You didn't say it was bad for me, you said it was to bad for me.
Parent - - By Zapper [de] Date 2012-11-04 00:01
And implying that the teen party is the bad itself, this is both grammatically and scientifically correct
Parent - - By Andriel Date 2012-11-04 00:45
Wait, what kind of wild-teen-party are we talking about? Straight, exaggerated, downplayed, justified, inverted, subverted, double subverted, parodied, deconstructed, reconstructed, zig zagged, averted, enforced, lampshaded, invoked, defied, discussed, conversed, played for laughts, played for drama or even slightly obscenely tinged? (coughcough)

Subverted.
Parent - - By Fluff [gb] Date 2012-11-04 00:46
Shouldn't it be "to Bad" then?
Parent - - By Zapper [de] Date 2012-11-04 00:52
And while we are at bats, how did you pronounce Fledermaus again
Parent - - By Fluff [gb] Date 2012-11-04 12:18
フワフワ ɡɹeɪt
Parent - - By Caesar [de] Date 2012-11-04 12:29
フレーダマウース?
Parent - - By Fluff [gb] Date 2012-11-04 21:18
Indubitably.

Wild teen-party was quite fun. We played with a kitten, watched Doctor Horrible's Singalong Blog, and invented a chess variant.

> and invented a chess variant.

Intresting. Tell me about it :)
Parent - By Fluff [gb] Date 2012-11-04 21:29
Rooks are stationary, let you put two pieces on one square, and can act as a one-use shield from being taken, "knights" are actually horses that let other pieces move farther, and all the actual pieces are face-down slips of paper, apart from the king.

Let me guess: You forgot to invite girls.

I was the only boy there.
Parent - - By Pyrit Date 2012-11-04 22:36
Where can I find girls that play Crash Bandicoot 3 with me!? :D
Parent - By Fluff [gb] Date 2012-11-04 22:42
The UK. we're awesome.
Parent - By Fluff [gb] Date 2012-11-04 22:17
Oh, and we also played Crash Bandicoot 3. Forgot about that.
Parent - - By Fluff [gb] Date 2012-11-05 22:02

>teen party is the bad itself, this is scientifically correct

I was just teaching my pet rock hapkido, when this popped back up in my mind.

How would you scientifically determine that wild teen parties are bad for people? Which variables do you take into account? How do you measure the "wild"ness of the party? And in what units?

Completely unrelated.

I'm confused. Why aren't the people in the video seizure-dancing?

Keep in mind that your ports have to be forwarded and the clonk.exe is allowed to communicate through the firewall!
Parent - By Zapper [de] Date 2012-11-04 18:55
But only if he wants to host a game himself - if he simply joins another host, he wouldn't need that (especially since port forwarding has not much to do with the firewall :)  )
Parent - - By J. J. [py] Date 2012-11-05 19:08
Hm. I tried joining and hosting but both didn't work it must be my internet it must be to slow whaaaaa. :'(
Parent - - By Caesar [de] Date 2012-11-05 20:44
One-horse town DSL should be fine for smaller rounds.
Parent - - By J. J. [py] Date 2012-11-07 19:31

>One-horse town DSL should be fine for smaller rounds.

What is it a small map that you can download?
Parent - - By Caesar [de] Date 2012-11-07 20:43
Is that sentence missing commas? I don't get it. But afair, Clonk won't allow loading more than 5 MB of map/object data from the network host.
Parent - - By Fluff [gb] Date 2012-11-07 21:16
It should be "What is that? A small map that you can download?"
Parent - - By Caesar [de] Date 2012-11-07 21:18
I still don't get it, but One-horse town DSL is a <1Mbit connection and a small round is one with few players.
Parent - By Fluff [gb] Date 2012-11-07 21:20
He was asking if "One-horse town DSL" was the name of a scenario.
Parent - - By Pyrit Date 2012-11-07 21:34
And now explain how to change the value in the registry!
Parent - - By Caesar [de] Date 2012-11-07 21:44 Edited 2012-11-10 16:07
Press: + R
Enter: REG ADD "HKCU\Software\OpenClonk Project\OpenClonk\Network" /v MaxLoadFileSize /t REG_DWORD /d 0xa00000 /f
Press OK

Sets it to 10 MB. 0x1400000 für 20.
Parent - - By J. J. [py] Date 2012-11-10 15:33
I'm not sure I understand these instructions.
Parent - - By Pyrit Date 2012-11-10 15:37
But I think they couldn't be any more exaxtly.^^

Anyway they are not mandatory for playing online.
Parent - - By J. J. [py] Date 2012-11-10 15:46
OK. Thanks.
Parent - By Pyrit Date 2012-11-10 16:20
Are you sure the ports are open and there are rules that allow clonk to communicate through the firewall? Can you host/join in Clonk Rage?
Parent - - By Caesar [de] Date 2012-11-10 16:02
Better?
Parent - - By J. J. [py] Date 2012-11-12 19:23
I tried that still nothing. So no not better. :\
Parent - - By Caesar [de] Date 2012-11-12 21:29
I meant the explanation. That won't help people joining you. Also, it's possible that there is just nobody around.
Parent - By J. J. [py] Date 2012-11-24 13:26
Sorry for the delay in answering you, but yes it is better. :)
