Here's a translation. Might be slightly garbled still...
The turbulent OpenClonk is based upon the Clonk series, which was brought to live by Matthes Bender and was released in 2009 to hobbyists to enable further development. The nimble protagonists, the Clonks, can be compared in many ways to the "settlers" of yore [referencing "The Settlers"], and as far tactics and density of explosions are concerned, it might have well been designed with "Worms" in mind. You harvest resources, build small economic cycles and fight fast-paced battles. Depending on the level you there are different tools at your disposal: From grappling hooks and shovels over bows and swords all the way to oversized Sylvester rockets used for transportation. As a result, the objectives of each round can vary greatly: Clonks not only have to climb mountains, but also fight in tense arena battles involving multiple players using the online modes.
And heh. The rockets made an impression for sure. Maybe we should have called it ROAR, after all? :)

Goh, really?
Really.
Hm. Peter does something useful that benefits me directly. Peter is currently British (Flags are law!). I smell causation.
