I can start Ogre Meshy 1.4, but it crashes when I load my mesh. But I can load the clonk mesh from the game for example.
Maybe Meshy 1.4 isn't compatible, because I modeled my mesh with the latest Blender and ogre xml exporter. It works fine ingame, though.
I have win7 64 bit.
Anyone knows how to run 1.5 or make 1.4 load my mesh?
I just encountered the very same problem, googled for a solution and google sent me here...
Solution
I did the following:
* Install the DirectX Software Development Kit [according to some random forum..] (link)
It might be that only the second step is necessary. So try that first.
Maybe it is half installed. But Ogre meshy still crashes. :/
Yes, when developing, I also noticed my 3D renderer immediatley crashes when trying to load the meshes for the following objects:
Objects.ocd\Items.ocd\Tools.ocd\Sickle.ocd
Objects.ocd\Items.ocd\Tools.ocd\Barell.ocd
Objects.ocd\Items.ocd\Tools.ocd\Barell.ocd\MetalBarrel.ocd
All of these can be opened correctly if the 3d renderer doesn't try to load the .skeleton. It seems these files are very weird / broken at the moment.
