I just wanted to ask whether these sounds fit OC. I will try to create explosion and every other environmental sounds that are needed for basic clonking. (building up a little base and mining for gold)
However, I am not sure whether the tool I am using (called SFXR) can create all this.
I will try not to have more than five files attached at once. As soon as I get enought, I will group them up. :)
I hereby license the following file(s) under the CC-by license

Dunno, this does not sound like an axe hitting hard wood but more...elastic. Like a musical bass beat.
I think they sound much too electronic; a better way to make sounds is to get a good mic and record the real sounds yourself.
For instance, my dad has alot of logs outside for the fireplace; if I had a decent microphone (which I don't) I could chop up some firewood and record the sound of me doing it. Wood chop sounds in minutes.

If I had logs..
How about creating explosions? Gotta get my chemistry set. :)

Hahaha
It's probably a better idea to get explosion sounds from a web sound archive. Though if you can make an explosion (without setting your house on fire), who knows.

Depending on the explosion there's no more house to be on fire ;)
