Hello, I've been tinkering with the game and would like to resurrect this game and development.  What are everyone's thoughts on this?

That would be awesome!

We've been waiting for this for years; the game is incredibly fun and challenging, and we can't wait to see it grow!
To date, it's still the best version of Clonk to play on modern PCs and with friends!

Where is version 9 at? And what's planned?
It would be wonderful if it could finally be resurrected; what a fantastic project!

Noone would object I suppose - but I also suspect most of the original developers won't be able to contribute much time :)

Sounds good. Sorry for the late response.  Well, So far i've been tinkering with a browser and Android port version.  I'd like to make it to where people can play where ever they go.  I don't have an IOS account or tools for the IOS port.  I was going to scour the forums and look at what many features were being requested and bug fixes.  I've also been testing multiplayer and crossplay between devices.  I was even looking at converted scenarios from Clonke Rage and Legacy Clonke.  I wanted to make it easier for anyone to create a scenario and upload it and work on lobby features.

Anything you guys can think of would be great, since you've guys have been playing for awhile.  I have one server so far, but its only in USA :( I  plan to get more servers abroad for more people playing.  But yeah I want to see this project come back to life.

No worries, I'm slow, too ;)

Our last official medium for bug reports was the github issue tracker:
https://github.com/openclonk/openclonk/issues/

We used to have a separat issue and feature tracker (Mantis) before moving to github. But that one doesn't exist anymore and I'm not sure whether there's an export of the contents.

I had the same feeling w.r.t. the scenario sharing. The last feature I completed "back then" was a sharing tool called "Lorry". The never-released OC version you find in the repository has a main menu entry to that tool where you can list, search, and download user-made scenarios and objects. There's not much uploaded there of course ;)

The web interface is at https://lorry.openclonk.org/ - but apparently there's a certificate error at the moment. Probably because noone renewed it :(
The code for the web interface is at https://github.com/openclonk/lorry/

Sounds cool! I bet with AI coding, a lot could actually be done quite quickly to bring things up-to-date, make it work on other platforms, etc. --s2
