Hi,
As I surfed trough the OC forum I got an idea. There were Topics about new materials, reveable FOW and so on.
Probably we could implent this and all other crazy ideas into the game without making some people angry about various stuff, because everybody can change those in an option menu (in the lobby) or choose special presets for quick melees, base melees, settlement, etc.
Also selfmade presets would be great (preset for a special scenario, saved in Scenario.txt(?)).
Greetings

I think the idea have to go on know, how it is. Your idea is a bit crazy and, and I think wild...
I like the idea of being able to define scenario presets which can be adjusted in the lobby/pre-start-screen - a little bit like the old Clonk Planet dialog but customizable - oriented on the flexibility and diversity of clonk scenarios. E.g. in the scenario.txt
[RespawnTime]
value = 10
range = 1,20
icon = 2
name = Respawn time
desc = Time until a new clonk spawns if the old one died

Yeah, i know there was a discussion about lobby options but this includes engine intern features, like zooming, which can be disabled or not.
Lobby options had been planned for a long time. I thought of simple user-defined drop-down options integrated into the options tab where you can adjust control rate, etc. right now. I think there is an empty class (C4GameOptions) already, but noone implemented it.
