Don't forget that we can't use "Clonk <something>", those are reserved for Clonk titles from Redwolf Design. For details, see http://hg.openclonk.org/file/tip/licenses/clonk_trademark_license.txt
For titles that contain "Clonk" we can only use titles in the form of [ABC] Clonk like e.g. Something Clonk

Iron Zap Clonk
Black Wipf Clonk
Magnificent Clonk
Mad Science Clonk
Gear Wheel Clonk
Gas Force Clonk
Exosphere Clonk
I like that "Black Wipf Clonk". In fact, we could change the wordorder. "Clonk Black Wipf", "Clonk Wipf Black" or something like that.

>In fact, we could change the wordorder.
No, it has to be *Clonk iirc.
Why do you think so black?
I think Clonk Magnificent (ClonkM) sounds good, almost all the others have all their "styles" eg Black Wipf sounds in my opinion a bit dark and evil.
"Gear Wheel Clonk" is also a good idea.

Brilliant Clonk
Illustrious Clonk
Radiant Clonk
Splendid Clonk
Awesome Clonk
Excellent Clonk
Grandiose Clonk
Wonderful Clonk
Glorious Clonk

It would have to be "Magnificent Clonk", since any title in the style of "Clonk Foo" is unavailable due to trademark restrictions.
I like Mad Science Clonk.

hm... what about names without Clonk in it?
Such as:
"Rage of Wipfs",
"Invent & Expand" or
"Flying Worlds"
Edit:
More brainstorming:
"Kludgy Gadgets"
"Reborn World"

its the german title of Terry Pratchetts book "thud!"

Clonkworl is very different.
So i don't think we get all this into a (shot) name.

The "Battle for Wesnoth" is an historical event in "Battle for Wesnoth". If we would think more about the world of clonk an name its places and think about its history it would be possible to get a name in the same way.
For the best names you need a story. And thus you actually dont have in clonk.

And, by the way: matthes only allowed us to use names that match the pattern "ABXClonk", didn't he? He allowed subtitles to "OpenClonk", though
...
OpenClonk - Clonk Unlimited!
openClonk: The Revival
> He allowed subtitles to "OpenClonk", though
Actually, the trademark license requires any title to be subtitled "an OpenClonk project".

Only ABXClonk allowed? Does this mean only "FooClonk" or is "Foo Bar Clonk" allowed too?

Revived Clonk
Clonk Reloaded :P

Am I the only one who likes the OC title? It's clear and simple. I like it.
I like it ,too.

[x] me, too

The title is not bland, it is short and to the point. It's like Coke Cola, what you read is what you get (no, not anymore actually :)). GWE was a nice thing, but the title was uninformative and confusing, especially for somebody who never had heard anything about Clonk. So Clonk should be in the name and on the other hand you should directly see what is so special about it.
I think the idea from somebody here "Unlimited Clonk" is in the right direction and acceptable, but please nothing like "Black Wipf Clonk", that sounds like you guys are living in the past and more than two words are not good for a computer game title anyway.

Head Clonk
Rocky Clonk
Stone Clonk
Hard Clonk
Heavy Clonk
Throw and Clonk
Make them Clonk
Lots of Clonk
More Clonk

Anyways, I thought I might offer a few ideas:
The Rise of Clonks
Legends of Clonk
Age of the Clonk
The New Dawn of Clonk
Chaos Clonk
Tales of Clonk
Specificied Titles:
The Renaissance of Clonk
Steamworks of Clonk
Clash of Brothers: Clonk

(I do not totally dislike "SteamworkClonk" though :) )

EDIT: So I'm not the only one who thinks SteamClonk would be a good idea? :D

"OpenClonk - an OpenClonk project" O_o

The idiots of 4chan would maybe call it LOLclonk. =C
