Hm, those random edges between liquid types are fairly annoying. Couldn't we do something "surface tension"-like to fix that? Say, whenever we place a PXS/MM pixel, look in a 5x5 window for a beneficial "swap" to make with another pixel of the same placement. Optimisation target would be maximising the number of neighbours of the (exact) same material.
Couldn't we give liquids density and move for example acid pixels on top of lava pixels in the same basin? I have no idea how hard that would be with the mass mover.
Yeah, that would be another relatively easy solution. Might even be more natural. Well, outside of the fact that lava should really extinguish on contact with acid, right?

Feel free to experiment with that (and with how much resources that would need) :)

Those new textures from Matthias really are awesome!

The new firestone has become very similar to Ruby though.
But ruby shines, so that is okay in my opinion. The coal texture still looks odd.

Ore and Stone still look quite a bit similar for me. I'm color blind (red-green color blindness)

Is a known bug (by me), but was not yet at the top of my todo list.

This should be fixed now. However, it is a matter of fine-tuning when to grab and when not to grab the ladder, so please report if does not feel good enough.

I think the lowest value was around, what I said above, it fluctuated a bit.
