Hello Open-Clonk community,
I have modeled a fish, a bit like the clonk style. The fish is built of 86 Faces and 91 vertices. Actually there is no existing texture and normal map for the fish. Perhaps someone can add one. I wish in Open Clonk will be a smoothing for some things. For animal it would be great.
Greets Dragonclonk. :)

i think there are too much polygons for such a small objekt. the cut from the nose to the tail over the fish could be deleted. the "smoothened" model itself has too much polygons, for sure, i dont think we can use it (the high-poly).
I think it is not to HighPoly. We dont live in 2005 anymore ;). It is also no problem to minimize the polycount via software for older computers. So better 10 polygons more than 5 too less.
The smoothed fish was only for the presentation, if open clonk will be have a automatically smoothing for the animals.
So, I've made a texture. It could be good for this model. If I have time today evening, I will test it.

so the UV-map is done? if yes, could you upload a newer model?
I dont know how to create a rendered UV-map. I can only place the texture with UV-map on models, but not rendering.
What for a newer model? Is it not good enough?

oh, i meant file instead of model. a file with the model and an arranged UV-Map
The file is attached. But I have not the UV-Map, actually only the texture for the body. Now I am looking for a eye texture.
Perhaps someone likes to make the UV-map. The model ist there. ;)
