His example of sulphur looks good, but maybe add a bit of dusty yellow to it, his example seems just a bit too neon-ish . . . . hmmm, just my opinion.

>B_Es sulphur looked good
The second graphic for the sulphur looks like the light is hitting it at the wrong direction. D: But otherwise, it looks quite nice.

Oh BTW: Material chunks where the light does not come from the front, making all borders darker the same amount may not be rotateable in the game. So either AlteredARMOR rerenders all material chunks with the light coming from the camera or you gotta delete all Rotate=1 from the DefCore.

EDIT: And another one?

>(Yeah, my bad, I made them without alpha).
Can't you just rerender them?

EDIT: I dimmed lights a bit so crystals won't look that bright

Umm is it just me, or do the gold chunks kinda look like dirt now?

I do not think we should implement images for them. I mean you can not dig a "chunk" of sand and carry it with you. Even if you can carry sand it would look like this:

I suggest to remove a possibility of "digging out chunks of sand" because it does not affect gameplay that much. Or am I wrong?

Well, it was never said, that physics in land of clonk are identical to these in our world. I personally like idea of having sand and ash chunks.
This would be the same problem with beton. I think the material should be packed into a container (bag, barrel?) to handle it as an collectible object.

However, I just got an interesting idea. Maybe sand/ashes simply caan not be dug away; rather, it is tossed into the air above-and-behind the clonk, but loses no pixels of material by doing so. Could the engine coders implement a material type like this? :D

I might play around with the material later on.

About flint necessity I totally agree with Clonkonaut
EDIT: Well, of course you are free to help.

Or maybe someone else (like B_E) will help

Slightly more emit would look nicer, it's to dark in the bottom compared to the top, maybe make the differences smaller like that.

O3
) for its red color that matches this texture quite good (comparing to magnetite (Fe3
O4
) which would look mostly like on ordinary rock).
Coal chunks, mabye make them a little pitted, if u ever actually seen coal, (not a picture), they look to be pitted some
Sulphur, wat effect makes them translucent? though if messin with that aspet dont work, y not try usin a slightly bolder/darker yellow, (yes i think there is a difference between bold and bright).
Flint, im not sure but someone said that lava cracks should be added to them, wouldnt that be for the T-flints/super flint/terra flints?
Rock chunks, look good, though mabye round the edges? (when u like to make piles out of them for fun when ur younger, u kinda remember the general texture/shape of rocks.
All in all though, good work, and keep it up.
